The University of Ilorin has reopened its 2020/2021 postgraduate portal for admissions into postgraduate programmes and payment of school fee. This was contained in a press statement titled ‘IMPORTANT NOTICE: RE-OPENING OF PORTAL FOR ADMISSIONS INTO POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES AND PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEE’ last week.
It read, “This is to inform the general public that the Management of the University of Ilorin has approved that the University portal be re-opened from Monday, 23rd November to Sunday, 13th December 2020 for:
a) application for Admissions into Postgraduate Academic Programmes 2020/2021; and
b) payment of school fee by some returning students. Prospective applicants for admission and returning students who are yet to pay their school fee are hereby enjoined to take advantage of this golden opportunities.”
The postgraduate application was initially slated to close for Friday, July 10 2020.
It’s latest updates reschedules the deadline to Sunday, 13th December, 2020 while Thursday, 24th December, 2020 for transcript submission.
Applicants for admission are requested to:
i) read the instruction on the advertisement of postgraduate programmes carefully and complete the application forms online on or before Sunday, 13th December, 2020;
ii) submit the necessary documents as contained in the instruction above to the Postgraduate School on or before Monday, 21st December, 2020. (Please read part ‘B’ of the advert carefully); and
iii) academic transcript should be addressed and forwarded to the Head of Department where admission is being sought not later than Thursday, 24th December, 2020.
The secretary of the postgraduate school, M.A Alfanla, while concluding, made it note that this opportunity would not be extended beyond 13th December, 2020.
